1. About Yolist
Yolist is a UK business directory operated by Yolist Ltd(company registration pending, England & Wales). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yolist website at yolist.uk and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a business listing or paid account. You must be at least 13 years old to browse the Platform. By using Yolist, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. Yolist reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Business listings
4.1 Accuracy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information in your listing, including business name, address, telephone number, opening hours, and description. Yolist does not verify listing information and accepts no liability for inaccurate listings.
4.2 Prohibited content
You must not submit listings or content that:
- Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
- Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights
- Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
- Advertises illegal goods or services
- Constitutes spam or unsolicited commercial content
- Impersonates another business or person
4.3 Removal
Yolist reserves the right to remove or modify any listing at its sole discretion, including listings that violate these Terms or that we believe may cause harm.
5. Reviews
Reviews must be honest and based on genuine first-hand experience. The following are strictly prohibited: fake reviews, paid reviews, review manipulation, defamatory content, and reviews by the business owner about their own business. Yolist may remove reviews that violate these guidelines without notice.
6. Paid subscriptions
6.1 Plans
Yolist offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Elite, Multi-location). Pricing is displayed on the Pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
6.2 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed annually or monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
6.3 Refunds
Annual subscriptions: a full refund is available within 14 days of first purchase (UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 cooling-off period for digital services, where applicable). No refund is available after 14 days or where the service has been substantially used. Monthly subscriptions: no refund for the current billing period. To cancel, visit your billing settings.
6.4 Grandfathered pricing
Early adopters who joined during a founding member offer retain their pricing for the duration of their continuous subscription. This pricing is forfeited if the subscription lapses.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by or licensed to Yolist Ltd and protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
By submitting content (photos, descriptions, reviews), you grant Yolist a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.
Some business data is sourced from public datasets under the UK Open Government Licence v3.0.
8. Third-party data
Business data sourced from Companies House, the Food Standards Agency (FSA), and Ordnance Survey is used under open licences and may not be fully up to date. Yolist accepts no liability for the accuracy of third-party sourced data.
9. Disclaimer of liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yolist excludes all liability for direct or indirect loss arising from use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of data, or reliance on listing information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time via dashboard settings. Yolist may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or at its discretion with reasonable notice, except in cases of serious breach where immediate termination may apply.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
